Monterey Wine Festival at the Fairgrounds - October 18th 4 - 9 p.m. 2008
In 2008 The 32nd Annual Monterey Wine Festival will be celebrating its next decade with a plethora of new additions to the floor and traditional favorites from the past. Drawn by a combination of world-class wine, educational seminars presented by industry leaders, a live wine auction, and exquisite gourmet offerings, the festival will expand to include California wineries sampling more than 600 wines attended by more than 3,000 wine lovers. This year, the festival is proud to include wineries from Oregon, Washington, and Australia. In addition a parade of Ports and Pinot's will be available to sip and swirl. Whether wine is your livelihood, your avocation, your hobby, or just something you'd like to learn more about, the Monterey Wine Festival at the State Fairgrounds is for you.

Starting at 4 pm Fountain Courtyard inside the Exhibit Hall, Memorial Coliseum

able to indulge in over 20 ports from around the Northwest and beyond.
Pick your favorites, relax and enjoy in this unique opportunity to experience
both wonderful varieties and the gourmet accompaniments. A must for those
who adore Ports! By stepping outside the door to the fountain court guests will also be able to stop for a moment and enjoy a cigar or a port or both! "Passport to Ports" guests will have a wonderful variety of ports to be sipped.
